Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4‘s campaign has had many twists and turns already, with early villain deaths, hero-turned-anti-hero moments, and some particularly harrowing moments in the midst of some trophy hunting, but now it’s gone open-world, and there’s a lot to take in.

The tenth mission of the story, Stranded, sees South Korean soldiers stuck behind enemy lines, and you’re in charge of one of them as he aims to destabilise the surrounding forces, and help his comrades escape.

If you explore enough, you’ll come across all sorts, including a Smugger’s Supply Drop hidden under a building, inside the sewers. If you’re here, you’re struggling to get through the sewers to the Smuggler’s Supply Drop, but don’t worry, we have everything you need.

Where is the Smuggler’s Supply Drop in Stranded?

Before you can navigate the sewers to get to it, you’ll need to find it. It’s located South West of Base Camp, in a building full of generators. Head to the back of the building, past all the generators and random items, and down the ladder and into the sewers below.

As you drop down, right in front of you will be the Smuggler’s Supply Drop, and now you have to figure out how to get into it. It’s not as easy as you’d think.

How to Get into the Smuggler’s Supply Drop in Stranded?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 hasn’t been like previous entries in the franchise. Some stuff isn’t spoonfed to you, and that’s certainly true for the open-world level Stranded. Once you’ve made your way to the building and into the sewers below, getting to the supply drop can prove difficult.

From where you can see the Smuggler’s Supply Drop on the other side of the bars, make your way to the right. If you head left, you’ll just exit the sewers. As you head right, you won’t have far to go to see the entrance to where you need to go.

It’s a small hole in the wall that you’ll need to crawl through, and as easy as that sounds, the maze-like structure is littered with explosives, with the Smuggler clearly wanting to keep his treasure.

To make your way through the sewer maze, you’ll need to follow these directions:

  • First right.
  • Left at the next junction.
  • Head forwards towards the skeleton until you get to the last junction.
  • Go left. You’ll see a ladder in the distance.
  • Go all the way to it and then up it.

You might think this is the end of the sewer puzzle, but it’s not. It’s just the end of the first part. As you climb the ladder you’ll see a crudely drawn set of arrows in front of you. This is telling you the safe way through the second part:

  • Crawl through and turn right immediately.
  • Left
  • Left
  • Right
  • Left
  • Forward
  • Left

The junctions in the second half have far less identifying features, so getting through them unscathed is far harder. Follow the above directions though and you’ll be fine.

You’ll arrive at the Smuggler’s Supply Drop and find multiple supplies, a Yellow Supply Crate, and a note. It turns out that skeleton you saw earlier on during the first part, was in fact the Smuggler himself.

Confused about his way back through, he obviously succumbed to his own traps, and if not for you, his treasure would have gone unused for years to come.
