Square Enix is hard at work on the final part of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy, and made a few announcements in the past weeks about the franchise’s future. The gaming community has high hopes to see this iconic story retold and reimagined with modern graphics, gameplay mechanics, and everything else that makes it a current-generation experience.
While the developers are tight-lipped about the release of the third and final game, this did not stop them from announcing a physical re-release of earlier entries. This is an opportunity for fans to own physical copies in a single package before experiencing the third game to get the full remake experience.
Square Enix Is About To Make Physical Media Collectors Very Happy With a Twin Package

In a recent blog post, Square Enix announced a new twin pack for Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which features the first two games and also includes the Intermission level featuring Yuffie Kisaragi. This twin pack is a perfect opportunity for those who didn’t pick up a physical copy of both Intergrade and Rebirth on PlayStation 5, or physical game collectors with a large digital library to stack up on the shelf.
At the time of writing, there is no news about a physical release for the twin pack on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X/S. Perhaps this new bundle will be released alongside the streamlined progression mode as featured on these other platforms.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Might Be Closer Than One Might Expect

The developers were optimistic about their progress for the upcoming game and even shared that a keyword and release window had been agreed upon internally. Perhaps the release of the Final Fantasy 7 twin pack is a signal that Square Enix is slowly making preparations for a reveal in the coming months.
The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade and Rebirth Twin Pack will be released on December 4, 2025, for the PlayStation 5 system.
