When it released, the original Mortal Shell was one of the most original ideas of the time. Not happy with just creating a world to explore and fight in, the developers gave us the ability to awaken and possess the husks of fallen soldiers, all with unique and interesting abilities, and go to town with them. Four years later, as now have the release date for its sequel, Mortal Shell II, which looks to build upon all of that, while simultaneously promising an adventure that respects our time, doesn’t need any knowledge of the original to fully enjoy, and deliver an original experience to boot. Full details below.
