Sandfall Interactive struck gold after the success of the first game in their Clair Obscur franchise. The game was a breath of fresh air for JRPG fans with a fine mix of talented voice acting and cutting technology for graphics. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series lineup, and on PC, but there is one major platform that is missing out on all the fun.

The Nintendo Switch community could be catching up to the Expedition 33 hype. It is worth noting that nothing has been set in stone, but there is a good chance this game could be heading for the Switch successor sometime soon.

The gaming community was taken by storm after the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and the developers are collecting the roses after a successful launch. Fans fell in love with the characters and their struggles, as well as the mature themes about acceptance and finding the meaning of life. Sandfall Interactive took its sweet time to get this project up and running, and it found its home on current-gen consoles.

While the game runs beautifully on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and other handheld gaming PCs, the Nintendo fan base felt left out. In a recent interview with Sandfall Interactive, the developers confirmed that there are possibilities worth exploring.

“We have some possibilities that we will explore, but we can’t confirm anything at this time.”

Even months after release, Sandfall Interactive is still focusing on making the game better for newer players. Updates that improve the quality of life, performance, and even new language settings to break the barrier and allow more players into this franchise is a sign that they might have plans to expand in the future.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is much more powerful than its predecessor, and many have compared the visuals and quality to a PlayStation 4 Pro or even a PlayStation 5. Perhaps this console has what it takes to run Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and offer Nintendo players a smooth experience even on the go. Sandfall Interactive is a new gaming studio, and it would make sense to get its first project on as many platforms as possible.

At the moment, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Do you think Sandfall Interactive has plans to port this game to a Nintendo system? Let us know in the comments section below!
