Fans of Yooka-Replaylee can finally add this remake of the beloved 3D platformer to their growing collection of physical games. The developers behind this cutesy title have confirmed that a physical release for Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 is coming in the holiday season.
Not only will fans get a full copy of the remake, but it will also contain the base game and retail for only $49.99 on all available platforms. As if the price isn’t convincing enough, the publishers decided to throw in extra gifts.
Physical Editions of Yooka-Replaylee Will Be Hitting Store Shelves Later This Year

If you were a fan of the original version, Yooka-Replaylee looks to be a faithful remake that will carry over everything that made the original memorable. This is rebuilt from the ground up to take full advantage of the extra horsepower of the more modern gaming consoles and give Yooka and Laylee the treatment they deserve.
The physical versions not only come with a collectible poster of the world map and a new character sticker set, but you can dive in a bit earlier once the game launches digitally on October 9, 2025, on every gaming platform available. The publishers’ generosity is inspiring, especially since they stand by their promise to grant every owner of the original version a huge discount for the remake.
For physical media enthusiasts, you will only have to wait until December 18, 2025, to get your hands on the physical edition. Not only will it be a much flashier and better version, but returning players will also notice plenty of new changes and improvements. Some of the items included:
- New Currency
- Expansive Map
- Improved Customization Features
- Polished Moves and Animations
- New Remixed Challenges
- More Collectibles
The physical edition of Yooka-Replaylee will be released on December 18, 2025, for only $49.99 on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
