An upcoming first-person Psychological Horror game by the name of Haunted Bloodlines has an exciting announcement: a brand-new demo has just been announced on Steam by the developers and is available for gamers to play right now!
Within this demo, players who have played the game before will be able to experience a completely overhauled experience, with upgraded graphics, additional features, smarter enemies, and so much more, but for those who haven’t experienced Haunted Bloodlines yet, you are in for a treat.
Haunted Bloodlines’ New Demo Takes the Psychological Horror to the Max
For those who are not aware, Haunted Bloodlines is an upcoming project developed by a group of students with the help of their teacher under the studio name Horrified Triangles. Originally starting as a students’ project, Haunted Bloodlines has now evolved to the point that it is being commercially released, so gamers can enjoy the psychological horror that awaits them around each corner.
Taking place within a haunted mansion, players will take control of a reluctant heir to said mansion as they return to this location to uncover secrets that have been buried here. Unfortunately, nothing is what it seems within this mansion, as the haunted house is ever-changing both in terms of its rooms and even the timeline.
Yes, you heard me right, Haunted Bloodlines will take place over multiple timelines, allowing players to alternate between these timelines in an attempt to learn more about this haunted mansion and the blood-soaked past of their lineage. However, this task will have even more challenges the further the player goes.
Due to the game being a psychological horror, it makes sense that sanity plays a part within Haunted Bloodlines, and it is safe to say that sanity will play a huge part. Nothing is as it seems within Haunted Bloodlines, as your mind can play tricks on you, even when you have to rely on your mind to survive against the horrors that lurk around each corner.
To add to the psychological horror, players will not be running around with guns that can be used to defend themselves but instead will be relying on their wits and stealth skills to avoid the entity that calls this mansion home, but with the new demo, players will not be entirely defenseless, as there will be some circumstances that allow the player to defend themselves, but we won’t spoil when.
