With 007 First Light on the horizon for IO Interactive, we thought we’d have to wait a long while to get another chance to inhabit Agent 47’s footsteps. It turns out that couldn’t be more wrong, with the studio announcing a new, limited retail edition for HITMAN World of Assassination, simply titled ‘Anniversary Box’.

HITMAN World of Assassination brings together the three most recent HITMAN games, giving fans value for money in a bumper package, including the main campaigns, Contract mode, Escalations, Elusive Target Arcades, and more. Now, with the announcement of the HITMAN Anniversary Box, it gets even better.

Launching on October 17th as just one of a planned rollout of celebrations, initiatives, and rewards to gamers, the Anniversary Box will include:

  • An exclusive shadowbox.
  • A ‘special visual’ for the PS5 game case.
  • Four celebrity DLCs (The Undying, The Drop, The Splitter, and The Banker).
  • Collectible lenticular art card which ‘celebrates the franchise’s legacy.

With pre-orders going live today, the HITMAN World of Assassination Anniversary Box will set you back a paltry $49,99/€49,99/£44,99. What other ideas and events IO Interactive has in store for us for the rest of the anniversary celebrations have yet to be revealed, but as well as physical items like this, it’d be a fair expectation to see some digital events and contracts in the game itself. Will you be picking up the Anniversary Box?
