Many games have come and tried to become John Wick, and they have managed to pull off the action we saw in the original film series. But there was only one official game associated with the franchise, John Wick Hex, developed by Bithell Games, and now we are about to see it go, as its publisher, Big Fan Games, is removing it from sale. In its latest announcement, it mentions that the game will be available till July 17, 2025. It reads,
To our community, John Wick Hex will be removed from sale on all platforms beginning July 17th, 2025. After July 17th, 2025, existing owners of John Wick Hex will still be able to access the game via their digital libraries (PC/Console) and/or physical copies (Console), however new purchases of John Wick Hex will not be possible, regardless of platform or storefront.
That is something similar to what happened with Marvel’s Avengers, which was pulled from digital storefronts after three months of its release. However, even after it was pulled out, the ones who already own it were able to play with the original game and what was added later to it. That included War for Wakanda, Cloning Lab Omega-Level Threat, and more.
As of now, there’s no clear reason why Bithell’s video game is being pulled; it is likely because its IP had expired. With the publisher being based around the premise of bringing existing film IPs to the smaller, gaming screen, it’s a surprising move. Its other video games include Hellboy Web of Wyrd, Reigns: Game of Thrones, TRON: Catalyst, and more.
John Wick Hex Has Followed One New Story

The game brought a new entity into the franchise called Hex, who rebels against the High Table, a governing body of the franchise’s underworld. For that, Hex kidnaps Winston and Charon, who are voiced by the original actors who play the characters in movies, Ian McShane and Lance Reddick, respectively.
Though it would have been great if this game focused on that “Impossible Task” that makes Wick, John Wick. But we are already getting an animated series about it, so it’s alright.
