Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has been out for a few weeks now and has managed to take the gaming industry by storm as its gameplay and story attract players and developers alike. Although the title was developed by a small team, it could have been slightly larger, as a potential developer reveals they missed their chance at greatness.

After the release of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, there have been many developers who wished to have been a part of the project, but sadly missed their shot. One such developer is a 3D character artist called Dylan Kowalski, who has recently posted on Twitter/X that they missed the opportunity to be a part of this project back in 2021.

Within Dylan Kowalski’s post, they describe how back in 2021, they were invited to be a part of the project Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as a character designer, but sadly, they missed the opportunity due to the fact that they didn’t open the email.

As we all know, it is difficult to keep up with the ever-growing inbox of our emails, and many opportunities pass us by, but now Dylan and many other developers like him will likely keep a closer eye on their mail in the future.

Along with this post, Dylan continues in the comments with some character designs they were working on back in 2021, showing their art style. This allows us to see how detailed and distinct their art style is from what we received in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and how, if they had been part of the project back in 2021, it could have differed or been improved.
