Marvel Rivals has come a long way from being one of the best competitive shooters featuring everyone’s favorite superheroes. New maps, game modes, and playable characters have been added since it launched, and fans can’t get enough of it. The developers over at NetEase Games are hard at work thinking of new ways to attract new players and keep old ones loyal, and it seems they have found the perfect game mode.
After the successful release of the Marvel Zombies limited series on Disney+, it paved the way for the undead to make their way into the gaming side. This also became a good way for the developers to deliver an excellent and interactive PvE mode where players must band together to defeat a common evil.
Assemble a Team of Heroes To Fight the Queen of the Dead in Marvel Rivals
One of the many requests of the player base is for a new PvE mode, where they can fight alongside each other and fight an AI enemy. NetEase Games has dipped its toes in different game modes, as seen with the previous limited game mode featuring Ultron where players can position heroes and villains in the field.
This new game mode is a welcome change of pace from fighting to secure a specific spot or escorting a vehicle in Marvel Rivals. Instead of forming multiple teams, players can work with others to fight off hordes of the undead and purchase upgrades to improve their odds against the Queen of the Dead, also known as, the zombified Scarlet Witch.

Players and fans of the hit Marvel Zombies series will be delighted to take part in this fight rather than watching it unfold on a doomed Earth in the Multiverse. This time, players can take the fight to the Queen of the Dead and hit her where it hurts. Lead an assault on Midtown and take on infected variants of some of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
