Exciting news has just been leaked regarding Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, as a new trailer was seemingly leaked to the PlayStation Store ahead of the rumored State of Play that is rumored to be scheduled to take place on February 14th.
This new trailer showed us plenty of gameplay and cutscenes from the upcoming title as well as a sneak peek into a familiar game mode that players will be excited to see return and even a release date.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Is Still a Long Way Away, but Recent News Has Fans Excited

As stated above, recently the PlayStation Store accidentally leaked a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater before quickly removing the trailer.
However, it wasn’t quick enough as gamers got a good view of the upcoming title, its release date, and even a familiar game mode that will bring nostalgia to the gaming community.
The biggest part of this trailer wasn’t just the sneak peek at the upcoming characters, set pieces, and bosses that players will be able to experience once again, but the release date that was teased at the end of said trailer.
According to the leaked trailer, players will be able to get their hands on Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater later this year, with a release date set as August 28th, which is very exciting news for Metal Gear Solid fans.
Although the release date was the most exciting part of the trailer, seeing all of the different locations and the Cobra Unit taking center stage was an incredible sight to see, inciting plenty of excitement for the Metal Gear Solid community.
Metal Gear Solid Fans Are Going to Go Bananas for the Recent Leak

During the recently leaked trailer, Metal Gear Solid fans also got a small reveal of one of the game’s extra modes that players are already partially familiar with, and that is the new Ape Escape content that was included within the original version of the game and has now been brought back for round 2.
So far, there has only been a small glimpse within the trailer, which revealed a design of one of the Apes as they tease the player and run off into the jungle, but that is already enough to garner attention and excitement for the upcoming mode.

Due to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater being a faithful upgrade to the original Metal Gear Solid 3, we can expect this mini-game to be very entertaining with rewards just like the banana camoflauge that players could earn in the original.
Unfortunately, this is only speculation as the game mode hasn’t officially been confirmed by Konami as of yet, but if the leaks are true, we could be seeing this trailer make its official debut during the rumored State of Play on February 14th. For now, we can only wait and see, but the excitement is building up for the Metal Gear Solid community.
