One Man’s Trash is a new game from the developer Jony Pazu Games, which tasks the player with using a vacuum to dig into a hole at a trash heap in an attempt to search for a hard drive that is worth millions, while also discovering all kinds of unique items of loot, as well as searching through bizarre locations. During my time with One Man’s Trash, I was able to explore everything that the game had to offer, but to keep this review spoiler-free, I won’t go too much into detail regarding the later sections of the game.
One Man’s Trash Gameplay is Both Relaxing and Fun
To start, let’s talk about the main aspect of One Man’s Trash, and that is the gameplay. When it comes to One Man’s Trash, the gameplay isn’t overly complicated, as it is all about using a vacuum to remove dirt from a trash mound to slowly dig down into the ground and collect items to sell to improve your equipment.
This may sound simple and relaxing, and that is because it is. Throughout my time with One Man’s Trash, I found myself in a very calm and relaxed mindset, as the gameplay is something that a gamer can easily get lost in. Whether it be farming for money to earn the next upgrade or delving deep into the world, there is plenty to do and plenty to experience.

While I played through One Man’s Trash, I found myself constantly enjoying the satisfying gameplay of removing dirt and items to clear a path forward to the next section of the game. However, as much as the gameplay is very relaxing, it can get boring relatively quickly, as there isn’t a lot to keep the pacing exciting. For gamers who enjoy a long grind in games, One Man’s Trash is perfect, as the grinding aspect of the game is very well done, especially with the different upgrades blocking progression if you aren’t smart with your purchases.
For me, there was a perfect balance of requiring upgrades to progress and a reasonable amount of loot that could facilitate purchasing these upgrades, but even for me, it began to get boring at times, as the constant drop down to climb back up to sell items was a rather irritating task.
There Are Plenty of Secrets to Discover and Unearth
One of the more interesting parts of One Man’s Trash is the locations the player can explore as they delve deeper into the world in search of the hard drive that is worth millions. Starting in a junkyard as the game’s starting location, it may seem quite small, but even for such a small space, there is plenty to see and find.
For me, when starting a new game, it is always fun to explore locations like this to see if there are any secrets or items to unlock, and luckily for me, One Man’s Trash is full of secrets and items to discover. For those who are completionists, I have good news, as One Man’s Trash has plenty of items to discover and a very simple way to track them, as well as rewards for doing so.

This, for me, was a big part of encouraging me to explore both on the surface and in the underground, as there were plenty of items to discover that could unlock extra secrets as well as improve my chances for survival. Speaking of increasing chances of survival, the game even has power-ups that can be acquired throughout your digging journey, which, for me, were both very funny and creative, as they provided me with unique buffs that made the journey into the depths even easier.
Avoiding spoilers, there were plenty of unique locations to discover within One Man’s Trash as well, many of which surprised me during my descent, as they were all very unique and rewarding to discover, which is a big positive for a game like this, as searching in places of interest and discovering nothing can be quite a downer, but luckily One Man’s Trash rewards discovery.
Overall Opinion on One Man’s Trash
Overall, I found One Man’s Trash to be a very relaxing game that provided me with a few hours of peace, with very simple and calming gameplay. Although there isn’t much of a story besides delving deep to find a hard drive, it was interesting enough and rewarding enough to keep me going while I played through the game.
Although the gameplay is very simple, it can be very fun and relaxing, as there is no stress regarding the digging and searching of One Man’s Trash, but there are moments in which stress can wake you up from the trance of relaxing and chill gameplay.

One Man’s Trash is a game that gives the player a vacuum and a trash heap with the task of digging down to a hard drive that is worth millions. Using these tools, the player must earn money, buy upgrades, and delve into the unknown.
Summary
My final thoughts on One Man’s Trash are that it is full of secrets to find that can be fun for those who are looking for a mystery hunt, but in terms of gameplay, it can be very boring and repetitive if played for a long period of time.
