Aspyr is fast becoming the go-to developer for cult classic remakes, with recent releases including Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered and Tomb Raider I, II & III Remastered, to name a few. Now, with plenty of experience with the Star Wars property, they’ve turned their attention to Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, but how long does it take to beat?
How Long Does it Take to Beat Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles?

The Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles remaster offers much the same experience as the original release from all those years ago, with the exception of some extra playable characters, and something of a fresh lick of paint.
Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles | |
---|---|
Main ‘Story’ | 5 Hours |
Platinum Trophy/All Achievements | 9 Hours |
With ten levels as part of the main story, you’ll be spending your time running through the corridors of a Trade Federation Battleship, to the glowing, bright city of Coruscant, as well as many more familiar locals of the film. There is some platforming required, and with the odd camera angles it can tack a bit of time on your playthrough as you die needlessly, but for the most part, your playthrough will go ahead unhindered, full of light saber battles and plenty of cannon fodder to fight.
The majority of the achievements/trophies will be gained just from playing through the levels, with a couple that requires you to do specific tasks; each level also has a trophy/achievement for hitting a certain score, which is incredibly simple when you avoid dying (and losing points due to the death). Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles is very much a simple 100%/platinum, for those that want to go for them. A friend helping out via co-op will quicken the journey even more.
During my review of Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, I mentioned how the secret levels were rightly included, and Level 14 specifically, the survival challenge, will manage to add a chunk to your playthrough and be the best of the four extra levels at the same time.
Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles was released on 23rd January 2025 and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows.
