The Xbox community has shown unwavering support for the gaming platform, despite the controversies surrounding the platform. It is still one of the biggest gaming companies to this day; however, the decisions from the company have been questionable as of late. Players on the platform are left out yet again after Broken Bird Games made a last-minute announcement amidst the launch of its newest project, Luto.
Luto Encountered Unexpected Issues on Current Generation Xbox Systems Right Before Launch

It can be frustrating for all parties involved with the recent Xbox fiasco; however, it is one of those unforeseen events. Broken Bird Games released a statement earlier clarifying that there were a handful of issues that have yet to be polished for the platform. If the developers pushed through, there is no telling how much worse Luto would look and run on that particular system.

The developers of Broken Bird Games claim that the issues have been addressed internally, but couldn’t get the approval to release the patch in time. The studio did not provide any specific information as to when Xbox players can play Luto, but they are confident that it will not be a long wait. Despite the last-minute announcement, it is a testament to the team behind the game of their honesty and transparency.
The Current Lineup of Xbox Systems Could Be Holding Developers Back

Many were skeptical about the performance and limitations of the Xbox Series S, the smaller and cheaper option, for game development. Other developers faced problems optimizing games for the system, and while the launch of Luto on this platform might be a coincidence, it shows that the problem goes beyond the technical capabilities of even the Series X.
Broken Bird Games also mentioned that certain achievements are bugged. Perhaps Microsoft could improve the implementation process to make it more convenient for developers and players in future games. Achievement hunters will likely be the first to call out the developers for this issue, while other platforms are having no trouble at all.
