Pax Dei, the social sandbox MMO, has made a huge announcement, one which will benefit current players, returning players, and any new players. After some time in Early Access, refining issues and fixing problems, Pax Dei is ending its Early Access tenure and starting its 1.0 full release, this October 16th (October 14th for Founders Supporters).]
With news of the announcement, Chief Product Officer at Mainframe Industries, Sulka Haro, praised the team and players of Pax Dei:
“The feedback from our Early Access community has been invaluable in helping us evolve the game. Our vision for Pax Dei has always been to create a living, breathing world shaped by players themselves. Now, as we open this new chapter, we invite everyone to join us in what marks the true beginning for Pax Dei.”
With Pax Dei, a game designed with the players first, and putting the onus on us to find our own way in the game, it’s going to be interesting to see the future updates from the developer. Whether you want to keep to yourself and build your home, farm your land and craft to your heart’s content, or wage war on your neighbours and explore new lands, there really is something for everyone, and the 1.0 release will push that further.
Straight from Mainframe Industries:
On top of Steam and Epic Games Store, where the game was already accessible during Early Access, Pax Dei 1.0 will release on PC Game Pass on day one. You can also play Pax Dei 1.0 via GeForce Now.
Pax Dei base game includes: permanent game access, two character slots, and a free month of Premium Membership (1 plot), granting one month of Premium Status and one Plot Token.
Premium Membership is not required to play Pax Dei – it’s a full optional subscription offering additional benefits, including Grace and XP boosts, along with opening the possibility to claim your own spot of in-game land to build your home. Premium Membership plans start at £2.99 / $3.99 per month.
On top of the base game, Early Access players will receive a series of perks based on the Founder’s Pack they purchased, in the form of Plot Tokens, month(s) of Premium Status, Character Slots, extra Grace, and exclusive cosmetic recipes.
Out of gratitude to the community who supported Pax Dei during Early Access, Mainframe Industries also announced a few extra surprises. With Pax Dei 1.0, Founders will also receive:
- Head Start Access to the game on October 14 (two days before the official release).
- A bonus copy of Pax Dei to gift to a friend (available until November 16, 2025).
What greater gift than a free game to share with your friends, hey?
