Rematch, the arcadey, fun, and at times downright frustrating football game has made it a whole year since launch, and to celebrate, developer Sloclap has shown off some frankly absurdly high stats, including unique players, goals, matches played and more. With over 530 million goals scored, and seven million unique players, that puts an average player at scoring 75 goals in the last year! Better than me…

One year ago today, players first stepped onto the Rematch pitch and experienced Sloclap’s unique vision for football gaming. today, the studio celebrates that milestone with the players who have helped grow Rematch into a global community.
Over the first 12 months, Rematch has seen:
- Over 7 million unique players step onto the Rematch pitch
- 105 million matches being played, and 530 million goals scored, which means for 12 straight months Rematch players have averaged an incredible 200 matches and 1,000 goals EVERY MINUTE!
- 4 seasons of new content and updates
- Cross-play introduced across PC, Xbox and PlayStation, bringing the community closer together than ever
- Collaborations with huge names across football and fashion, including the latest partnership with Fortnite that is running right now!
- Right now, players who purchase Rematch on Epic Game Store will receive the Coach Gabi outfit as a bonus reward in-game. Then starting from July 6, the outfit will be available to buy in the Fortnite Item Shop for all players.
