Honkai: Nexus Anima, HoyoVerse’s upcoming open-worldcreature-catching adventure RPG is releasing in full in Spring 2027. Today though, HoyoVerse has announced one last early opportunity for players to jump in, while simultaneously helping to iron out any bugs still present. The ‘Final Closed Beta’ as it’s being referred to is now open for players to pre-register for, but won’t begin until November 25th, 2026 on PC, Android and iOS.
For players wondering if this means they can get an early jump on the full release, unfortunately HoyoVerse has already confirmed all data will be wiped at the end of the Final Closed Beta test, but there are more features to experience you wouldn’t have seen in the previous ones.
Final Closed Beta Highlights:
- New Encounters: The Event Bond system has been updated, with a guaranteed limited Eidos and a free matching Anima Companion.
- New Adventures: Set out on a brand-new journey and unlock richer stories.
- New Characters & Anima: More companions and rivals join the journey, and Chromatic and juvenile Anima make their debut.
- New Settings & Habitats: Iia gains a range of new settings, and the RV and Habitat systems unlock.
- New Gameplay & Combat Upgrades: The Nexus Arena officially opens, and challenge stages get more varied.

It’s going to be a big twelve months for HoyoVerse, with the developers next game coming in less than a month. Petit Planet, the easy-going life-sim game launches on December 4th, as announced yesterday.
