Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was just released a few days ago and received generally favorable reviews from both critics and fans. This is a nice change of pace after how the original game had a rocky start at launch in 2019. Kojima Productions took into account all of the fans’ complaints from the first game and catered to their needs to make delivering cargo much smoother.
The game is relatively new, and hardcore gamers are taking time off to deliver cargo and reconnect Australia. However, one fan caught the director’s attention by attending a panel while playing simultaneously.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Can Be Played on the Go Thanks to the PlayStation Handheld
Director Hideo Kojima is undeniably proud of his work in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and it represents his love for the industry and the community. While on a panel with Geoff Keighley, Kojima was answering questions from fans until he caught one audience member playing his game on a handheld device.
The game is a PlayStation 5 exclusive; however, it doesn’t limit the possible ways of playing Death Stranding 2. This is where the PlayStation Portal excels, and it suits the needs of players who are constantly on the move and can’t sit down in front of a TV or monitor for hours as they used to. The remote play function is a lifesaver, and it was on full display during the panel.
Long distances from a console are a barrier removed thanks to this device, allowing the player to listen to Hideo Kojima’s answers in person while progressing the story without their console nearby. The future of gaming is looking bright and the PlayStation Portal is an asset that can help bring players closer to Kojima’s work.
