Marvel’s Spider-Man was a massive triumph from Marvel Games and Insomniac Games. It was a breath of fresh air to see this superhero in a much more interactive medium by combining source materials. There is no denying the gaming community is excited to see where the developers go next and who could show up.
The beauty of a shared universe is that multiple stories are happening simultaneously. There could be a convergence of these interconnected stories soon. Interactions with other heroes are enough to get fans excited, and Yuri Lowenthal shared which hero they want to share a scene with.
Marvel’s Spider-Man Voice Actor Is Eager To Share the Screen With a Fan-Favorite Mutant

The thought of having a shared universe is exciting already, especially after the success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the big screen. Insomniac Games seized the opportunity to do the same, but in the video game format. It has already been established that Marvel’s Spider-Man did not shy away from the existence of other superheroes in its shared universe.
All three major entries featured points of interest referencing the Fantastic Four, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Doctor Strange, the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, and many more. Marvel Games hinted that there will be more collaborations with the developers in the future.
In a recent interview, Yuri Lowenthal revealed some details about where Earth-1048 is currently before the arrival of a new hero.
“Based on the information that I have, I don’t think they’ve met yet… I’d love to see them together, obviously“
It was only a matter of time before Insomniac Games could flesh out Earth-1048 and introduce new leads in different corners of the universe, such as Marvel’s Wolverine. It would also make sense for Lowenthal’s character to have met Liam McIntyre’s version of Logan since he is strictly a New York hero. In the Miles Morales spinoff, it was a rare case for Peter to leave New York for Symkaria.
“I don’t think, in this universe, they’ve met each other yet. I would love for them to, obviously, create opportunities.
The Wolverine game was done completely separate. Like, we didn’t get to see any of that. We weren’t part of any of that process. And so it was kind of like a black box. I’m learning about it basically in real time with you.”
There is no telling where Insomniac Games will take these iconic heroes, or if they are building up to an event akin to the Avengers films. Nevertheless, it will be a treat to see Yuri Lowenthal’s Spider-Man using all of his wisecracks and quips to get on the good side of Wolverine.
