Kratos is one of the best recognizable characters in gaming history and a shining example of growth and self-improvement. From a bloodthirsty god to a savior, his growth doesn’t end there. While the gaming community has been begging for more content ever since the Norse Saga wrapped with the Valhalla DLC, the voice actor himself might have revealed a little too much about the franchise’s future.
Norse Saga Voice Actor for Kratos Shares Update on Future Projects

After years of rumors and hearsay, Santa Monica Studio finally made an official announcement of the highly-requested God of War remake trilogy. In the last State of Play, which many would argue to be Sony’s best one yet, fans are ecstatic to learn that TC Carson, the original Kratos from the Greek Saga is back for this remake project. It was a special day for fans, especially since Sony shadowdropped a new game out of nowhere, and it is a nice change of pace from what fans were used to in the Norse Saga.
There is a clear interest in Kratos’ past in the Greek trilogy, and these projects are capitalizing on the hype and momentum. During a convention, present day voice actor for the God of War spilled some beans about the upcoming remakes and his involvement in the franchise.
YouTuber Fuzhpuzy asked God of War voice actor Christopher Judge if he’s in the upcoming GoW Remakes. He said:

•Kratos will be voiced by TC Carson in the remakes, Christopher won’t be in it.
•Remakes will have new technology, fighting system, and content.
•New GoW from Santa… pic.twitter.com/bCSiIUiJEv
During a convention, a fan asked Christopher Judge about the recent announcements and if he is involved in any capacity. Judge clarified that Carson will be working on the remakes and subtly confirmed that the combat and other mechanics will be reworked. There is a good chance that the combat system from the Norse Saga will be adapted as many fans suspected.
However, Judge also revealed that he isn’t done with Kratos and states that he is working on a project that will be revealed sometime during the summer. Perhaps the gaming community will finally see the rumored sequel project taking place in a different pantheon sporting a brand new weapon.
