Pokemon TCG Pocket Datamine Proves December Could Be a Big Green Hit

There’s no doubting the fact that Pokemon TCG Pocket has hit the ground running, and then some. The nostalgia-filled, dopamine-delivering trading card game has already proven to be a massive hit worldwide, with millions of dollars of profit made, and upwards of 30 million players joining in its first nine days, according to an X (formerly known as Twitter) post. Now, thanks to a datamine, we know what’s to come for players in the Christmas period, with some serious events on the way.

Thanks to TheGamer, we now have our first look at the upcoming December event, with some incredible rewards, and some juicy battles to look forward to. For those who got involved with the game early on, the Lapras EX Event ran from November 5th to November 18th (today).

Assuming you’ve opened a few packs, completed the previous event, and fought a few battles, you’ll understand just how difficult the EX cards specifically can be to obtain in Pokemon TCG Pocket. Thankfully, with the potential event coming next month, developer Creatures Inc. has given us the best Christmas present. The leaked battle event and the rewards are as follows:

First Clear RewardsDrop Rewards
Ivysaur Deck2 Pack Hourglass, 50 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket, 25 XPPromo Pack A Series 2, 25 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket (39 percent chance)
Venusaur & Scyther Deck4 Pack Hourglass, 100 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket, 50 XPPromo Pack A Series 2, 25 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket (39 percent chance)
Venusaur EX Deck6 Pack Hourglass, 150 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket, 75 XPPromo Pack A Series 2, 25 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket (39 percent chance)
Venusaur EX & Lilligant Deck8 Pack Hourglass, 200 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket, 100 XPPromo Pack A Series 2, 25 Shinedust, 1 Shop Ticket (39 percent chance)

As well as the above, we’ll be seeing a relative repeat of the Chansey and Meowth Wonder Pick events, except with Bulbasaur and Magnemite taking their positions. It seems like this structure is the one Creature Inc. will be going with for the future, if nothing changes, meaning lots of opportunities to get different types of cards and complete our collection. Of course, until they go and increase the amount of cards to collect in Pokemon TCG Pocket (please).
