Hellraiser: Revival is a survival horror game with a difference – it doesn’t pull any punches. From the depictions of murder, sex, drugs, the iconic Pinhead and everything in between, it doesn’t seem to let up during your entire playthrough. After you’ve made your way through the Labyrinth for the first time, and come the…
Hellraiser: Revival is here, finally, and it’s safe to say I thought it was great, and the majority of reviews seem to back that up. Boss Team Games, taking what was a mostly dead franchise in Hellraiser, and giving it life again. We don’t know what the future holds for the franchise, whether we’ll get…
By this point of Hellraiser: Revival, you’ve seen the horrors of Marlowe, Bruno and the cult below, ranging from torture to murder, and now we’ve head upstairs, we’re in a civilian-filled sex club where escape is still at the forefront of our minds, except there’s less swinging weapons and more swinging… well you get the…
Things have heated up in Hellraiser: Revival, with Charlotte being transformed (one of the most disturbing moments of the game), chasing you through the woods and down into the graveyard below (with a broken ankle no less). You’re now tasked with getting out of the graveyard, but first, you need to find a way to…
By now, things have escalated in Hellraiser: Revival. Partners have been lost to hell, people have been sacrificed, Pinhead keeps flitting in and out, and you’re now running away from some otherworldly transformed demon of a woman through the sewers, and yet, you’re now having to get into a van. Getting into said van can…
Hellraiser: Revival is full of puzzles. From the simple ones like the M359 door earlier in this same level, to the more complicated ones you’re yet to find, there’s a lot to find, figure out, and understand. That extends to the first of the game’s longer puzzles, the Leviathan Statuette Puzzle. If you’re here, you’re…
Hellraiser: Revival opens up with a bang, literally. It certainly doesn’t hold anything back, from its depiction of the Cenobites, to the environments you’ll be exploring. Early on in the game, after being introduced to Marlowe and his Cenobite-serving Cult, you’ll have made your way through the M359 door, under the grate as some unfortunate…
Hellraiser: Revival is a single player, film franchise adaptation that attempts to do video game justice for one of the most iconic horror characters of all time. Whether or not it does that is for the review to decide, but the question of how long is Hellraiser: Revival? Well, that’s something we can answer. How…
Hellraiser: Revival is here, and to say it’s a faithful adaptation of Clive Barker’s Hellraiser universe is an understatement. By the time you get to the M359 door puzzle, you’ll have seen full frontal nudity, a sex scene, entered and exited the labyrinth, and seen more than a few tormented and tortured bodies. Now, you’ll…
Hellraiser: Revival is all kinds of messed up, but in the best ways. From the ways it portrays the Cenobites to that of the horrors of the Labyrinth, it keeps everything within the theme of the universe, and that certainly extends to how you increase health in Hellraiser: Revival. If you’re here, maybe you’re dying…
