Things have heated up in Hellraiser: Revival, with Charlotte being transformed, chasing you through the woods and down into the graveyard below (with a broken ankle no less). You’re now tasked with getting out of the graveyard, but first, you need to find a way to open up the cemetery gate. Well, that’s what you’re here for, and by the end of the guide, you’ll know exactly what to do to open the cemetery gate and get out of the graveyard in Hellraiser: Revival, as quickly and simply as possible, lest Charlotte eat you.
How to Open the Cemetery Gate in Hellraiser: Revival
You’ll have landed in what looks like the remains of a church, with a cemetery to your right filled with gravestones, mausoleums and cult members. Head through the remains and you’ll find the cemetery gate on your left, which you need to open and make your way through to continue your escape.

Unfortunately it’s locked, unsurprisingly. On the desk opposite are some surveillance notes that will give some more context to Charlotte, but you’ll want to head through the hole in the wall and into the graveyard first of all. The opening area of the graveyard has numerous different items you can find in breakable boxes, as well as quite the contingent of cult members to get in your way. It’s up to you how you approach this, whether using stealth of all out warfare are your tactics, either is viable.
One click and you're done. Thank you!
Make your way through the graveyard, past the broken glass (and the obvious prompt telling you not to step on it), and then around the corner into the second half of the graveyard. You’ll go past a bell, make sure to ring it as it has a high value item inside, and then up the stairs to Charlotte and Sean’s house. On the left is a shed, which you’ll get the Shed Key from in a second.
Go into the house and look around. There healing items, an Inventory Space Upgrade in a cupboard, crafting components and a save point. Grab the Shed Key from the nightstand and make sure you read the note as well. Check out the photo on the side in the same room, and then head into the kitchen where the safe is. As you probably figured out from both the note and the photo, the safe code is 9606, and inside is some pistol ammo and a pistol upgrade, the oversized Magazine Release, which reloads the pistol quicker, in short.
Now, head outside and into the Shed, using the Shed Key you just picked up. You’ll notice both a note and what equates to the cemetery key sat on a pile of logs in front of you, the Graveyard Gate Inset. Pick it up and then let the cutscene play out. Now, you have to make your way back through the graveyard to the cemetery gate, but with an angry and dangerous Charlotte in there with you. While it is possible to stealth your way through the graveyard, using rocks and bottles as a distraction, it’s just as possible to sprint through and avoid her.
Once you’ve made your way to the cemetery gate, place the Graveyard Gate Inset into the hole and open the gate. Predictably, Charlotte will appear and knock you to the ground, looming over you. If you’re quick and shoot the fire lantern above her, you’ll set her on fire and the ‘Burn? Oh, Such a Limited Imagination’ trophy/achievement will pop, and she’ll skulk off. Once she does, you can finally get out of the graveyard and onto the next section of Hellraiser: Revival.
