While the real world continues to fall down around our ears, the digital worlds we continue to inhabit just got a whole lot cleaner, with the new demo for wacky, yet environmentally friendly Clean Up Earth launching today.
On today of all days (World Cleanup Day), Magic Pockets has decided to give gamers the chance to work their magic in their upcoming cosy cleaning simulator. With the idea behind it about cleaning up and restoring polluted environments, it seems like Clean Up Earth really couldn’t have a better or more on-brand day to soft-launch with.
Beyond the demo, the studio also released a new-look gameplay trailer focusing on the newly unveiled restoration mechanic. It’s not just about cleaning up that beach! Straight from Magic Pockets:
Clean Up Earth is Magic Pockets’ first original IP, inviting players to rejuvenate diverse landscapes ranging from icy mountain peaks to sun-soaked tropical beaches. Equipped with the futuristic Terra Cleaner, players can clean, restore and explore alone, in co-op with up to 7 friends or on shared maps with over 30 players. As they progress, they’ll unlock new upgrades and attachments to tackle increasingly challenging environments, while also repairing damaged structures to open up new areas.
Watch the gameplay trailer below!
Clean Up Earth is planned for release on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) in Q1 2026, with console launch dates to be confirmed after the Kickstarter campaign. For more information, visit the official website and follow the game on X.
