Borderlands 4 is set to get a range of DLC and expansions, as details today in the latest Gearbox DevCast. With no shortage of support, the latest being Bounty Pack 3, fans won’t have long to wait with the announcement of Bounty Pack 4, Bounty Pack 5 and Story Pack 2. Full details are below.

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced new details regarding upcoming premium content for Borderlands 4. During the latest Gearbox DevCast, the team debuted the first official look at the next Bounty Pack, Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions, launching July 30 alongside the Version 1.9 update. Additionally, a first look at Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort was shared ahead of its September 10 arrival.
Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions
Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions delivers all-new narrative content and high-tier gear as the latest piece of premium paid DLC. Arriving July 30, Bounty Pack 4 will be available in two parts for individual purchase: the core narrative expansion, Murders and Acquisitions, and Vault Card 4.In Bounty Pack 4: Murders and Acquisitions, players will venture through a polluted desert canyon known as the Toxic Scowl to assist Levaine, leader of the Electi, in settling a score between feuding Ripper factions: the pacifist commune known as The Flock and an aggressive group known as The Blasphemers. This all-new repeatable mission introduces choice-driven encounters that result in different dialogue, altered combat situations, and varied final boss fight assistance depending on the choices made.
Players can access this mission after the first encounter with Levaine in Carcadia Burn during the main campaign. Completing the mission unlocks a Vault Hunter Skin usable by all Vault Hunters, a Vehicle, and an ECHO-4 Drone Skin. Vault Hunters who are brave enough to take on the final boss and three mini-bosses in the Toxic Scowl will be rewarded with a chance at new exclusive loot including one new Pearlescent weapon and six new pieces of Legendary gear.
Available alongside the narrative content, Vault Card 4 allows players to earn desert-chic rewards, including 24 cosmetic items and four pieces of rerollable gear, through gameplay. Progression is driven entirely by experience gained through exploring Kairos, killing enemies, and completing Daily and Weekly Challenges. More information on rewards can be found in the blog here.
Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort, All-New Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, and Bounty Pack 5
Launching September 10 alongside the Version 1.10 update, Story Pack 2 centres on the return of the legendary beastmaster and playable Vault Hunter from Borderlands 3. This all-new narrative campaign follows FL4K making their triumphant return and continuing The Hunt on Kairos to track down their missing skag companion Mr. Chew. The pursuit leads to a volcanic, overgrown resort on a lush jungle island where the Tediore corporation is beginning a covert invasion.September 10 also marks the launch of an all-new playable Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker. Loveless is an ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin equipped with high-end cybernetics and a self-created digital virus that can digistruct into a physical extension of her will. Players received a first look at Loveless in her official Vault Hunter Teaser, shared during the previous DevCast.
Also coming September 10 is Bounty Pack 5, featuring new narrative mission content and Vault Card 5. More details regarding this upcoming Bounty Pack will be shared closer to launch.
Players that own Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition are automatically granted access to all of the content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition grants the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bounty Packs and Story Packs are also available for individual purchase.
2K and Gearbox Software are doing a great job of supporting Borderlands 4, with continued releases over the months, and no doubt more to come.
