One click and you're done. Thank you!
Phantom Blade Zero is full of bosses, books and pages to read, and puzzles to solve and be rewarded for. One of the earliest examples of the latter is the Cell Key you need to find to open the locked cell door in Weeping Creek Valley.
Phantom Blade Zero doesn’t hold your hand on where these items are, and if you don’t explore, you’re going to miss them pretty regularly. However, that’s why we’re here, and by the end of this guide, you’ll know exactly how to open the Weeping Creek Valley cell door in Phantom Blade Zero.
Weeping Creek Valley Cell Door Location
Phantom Blade Zero is a linear game, with one main path and several places that offshoot this path as you progress. There’s hidden caves, buildings, dungeons and more, you just have to take the time to find them. Shortly after you’ve beaten Jagged Steel, The Frenzied Brute, you’ll come across an outpost full of Mandate soldiers.
You’ll know you’re in the right place, as you’ll have dropped down from the Outpost Courtyard bell, and into the courtyard below. On the left is a small slope that’ll lead down into a dungeon, and this is where the cell door in question is.
You won’t be able to open it yet as the door is locked and a little way away. Instead, you’ll need to speak to the guards on the right, guarding the fenced-off area, and move your way through the mentioned outpost.
Cell Key Location in Phantom Blade Zero
The Weeping Creek Valley Cell Key is a little way away from where you currently are at the Cell Door. As mentioned, work your way through the Outpost, paying close attention to Forge, learning how to upgrade weapons from her; and then going past the chained up wooden gate which contains the Festering Secret Tale.
In fact, in this outpost there’s a range of quests, new and old, that you can progress.
Continue on past the gate and up the hill. You’ll come to a fork in the road, left is a dead end, blocked off thanks to the presence of Maskwalkers, and right is up a hill and through a cement archway. If you stand and talk to the patrolling soldiers, they’ll all mention the Axemaster, which is related to the Four Fierce Axes Tale, and is also this way.
Go through the arcway and immediately turn left. You’ll see a slope heading upwards out of sight. Follow it, and then up the stairs to the right of the house to the very top, and you’ll see a large open area with a body in the middle, and a glowing orange item next to him.
This is the Weeping Creek Valley Cell Door key. Once you’ve picked it up, you’ll be able to go back, preferably via Traversal to the Outpost Courtyard Bell, and open up the Cell Door below.
When you do, you’ll be able to pick up the following items:
- Blackstone Shard – Finding four of these will increase your attack and guard break by 10%.
And now you know not only where the Cell Door is, as that’s easily missed, but how to find the Weeping Creek Valley Cell Door key as well, and get the items inside.
