In news that shocked the gaming world last month, BioWare, developers of the iconic sci-fi adventure series Mass Effect was shuttered, and the next Mass Effect game cancelled in the process.
Now, so short a time after that, N7 Day, the celebratory holiday for the franchise, has seen the release of some (admittedly incredible) new merchandise for those fans who still want to live in Captain Shepherd’s shoes.
The most impressive new addition to the Mass Effect Merch store is hands-down the new Mass Effect 3 helmet, pictured below, but there’s also new hoodies, t-shirts, and even pyjamas, for those that want to lounge around.

As mentioned, the helmet is the center-piece here. Featuring LED lighting in the visor that is swappable between Paragon Blue or Renegade Red at will, there’s little stopping you living out your Mass Effect dreams now.
All of the N7 Merch is on pre-order until N7 Day itself, November 7th. What will you be picking up?
On the subject of the Mass Effect cancellation, the petition to save the franchise has reached over 300,000 signatures at the time of writing. Whether that number, or any number, is enough for EA to change its mind in regards to the studio’s closure is unknown at this point.
