It’s not every day that an original IP finds a solid foundation within the gaming community, but Dispatch has taken the world by storm for all the good reasons. Fans of the classic TellTale stories have finally found something to scratch the itch of an interactive experience, and this episodic adventure has delivered with flying colors.
AdHoc Studio initially released this superhero comedy on PC and the PlayStation 5 as a console exclusive, but fans on the Nintendo side of things are hopping on the hype train. However, after knowing what this game is all about at this point, some fans can’t help but notice that they are playing a somewhat watered-down version.
The Nintendo Switch Version of Dispatch Has One Key Difference From Other Ports

Modern audiences require a modern story, and that often involves mature themes in video games. Dispatch is popular for several reasons, aside from the stellar voice acting, animations, and storytelling, it is also funny. Most, if not all, characters can be heard screaming inappropriate words with funny contexts, but AdHoc Studio did not shy away from nudity.
This is a feature that can be toggled on and off on the PlayStation 5 and PC versions, but it is noticeably absent from the Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 versions. Some fans held out on purpose, knowing that a port would be coming, but not having the option to play as the developers intended naturally upset some fans of the game.
really disappointed on the switch port of dispatch no toggle on and off for cencoring i wouldn’t mind it if it was disclosed to us but they held this to them until after launch i would have bought it on ps5 if this was the case pic.twitter.com/GGbf9FLymJ

Even when the game was released only on two platforms, Dispatch reached an impressive milestone that not even AdHoc Studio saw coming. While it may not be appropriate for all players, the mature themes are a driving force behind the game’s success, and having the options to switch them off or on other platforms allowed players to experience it however they like.
The removal of this feature on the Nintendo Switch versions could potentially be a mandate of Nintendo, but others would argue that the eShop has been plagued by games that are not designated for a young target audience.
Literally, idk if this was some kind of joke or something, cause the amount of Hentai in tittles or even in the games themselves is absurd, and they're gonna censure a pixel of boob of a woman or the dick of a radioactive dude, and the censure is even in the art of the game…

Perhaps the backlash and community reactions will give AdHoc Studio some second thoughts about censoring certain features. There could be an update that could fix that down the line, and it would help Dispatch reach more hands and let players go through the story on their terms.
