During this trailer, we get a glimpse at the main character, as well as some of the destroyed and gloomy locations that the player will explore, but that isn’t all as some of the enemies have also been revealed during this trailer both within cutscenes and some small gameplay moments.
Even with the dark and gloomy world of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, the main character still has a sense of humor as the main character is both tense and childish in some of their actions, whether it be standing up to hoards of enemies, or comically bolting in the opposite direction.
One of the main aspects of the trailer was seeing the enemies that the player will come across, and each of these enemies looks to be interesting and gross as they are people who have been taken over by some sort of virus or parasite causing them to mutate and turn into mindless creatures.
Within the trailer, we can see some of the locations the player will be able to explore, many of them seem to be small villages, temples, and more. But what makes these locations better is the fact that they aren’t just set pieces, but they are also useful throughout the game to aid in combat, whether it be to lift a table as a shield, throw it, or throw an enemy into a drying rack that comically drapes the enemy in a cloth that sends them reeling into other opponents.
To add to the combat, the enemies can also be used to take each other out with a realistic combat system that allows the player to block an enemy’s attack causing it to hit other enemies by mistake allowing for multiple options within a fight.

Saros

Finally, PlayStation’s State of Play 2025 ended with one final trailer from the developer Housemarque with a short but sweet trailer that showed its upcoming game Saros.
During the trailer, we can only see the main character and what can only be described as a boss with numerous arms, and assumedly an attack that spawns multiple projectiles if what we see is to be believed.
However, it is clear that this title has taken the death-loop mechanic that made Returnal one of the previous games released by Housemarque so popular and added it to this game, the reason this seems to be so clear is that the character mentions that once they die they will come back stronger implying that they replay the same situation over and over again.
After the trailer concludes it is mentioned that this game will also take place on a shifting planet that is haunted by an ominous eclipse that threatens to reset the world.
Genre: Action Adventure Video Game
