How Long Does it Take to Beat Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter?
Odd Bug Studio’s new foray into the franchise includes a fair few improvements over the original, and it all adds to the time taken for you to fully experience everything that Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter has to offer. From collectibles to side quests, to finding all the right enemies to kill for the achievements/trophies, there’s plenty on offer for gamers.

Main Story | 10 Hours |
Main + Extras | 15 Hours |
Platinum Trophy/All Achievements | 20 Hours |
The game’s main quest is the perfect length for the type of adventure it is, at around 10 hours of play, although that is at a leisurely pace, it has to be said. You’ll spend a great deal of that time exploring and fighting, which means you’ll be naturally working towards a great deal of the trophies/achievements of Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter, without intentionally going for them.
Once the main story is complete, you’ll be free to focus on all of the side quests present, from killing bosses to a certain nest, and more besides, just like the main story, the side quests will be a part of the final journey to getting that 100%/platinum.

During my review of the game, I couldn’t get over just how good the game looks, and it’s something that needs to be said multiple times. The 20 hours it takes for you to beat Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter will feel like two minutes in large part thanks to that.
Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter released on 28th January 2025 and is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Linux, and Mac.
