Dinosaurs are cool. That’s been true for millions of years. Building your own theme park where you can create exhibits, showcase dinosaurs and potentially put visitors in danger, just like the films of our childhood? Well, Frontier Developments made those cool. Jurassic World Evolution 3 released late last year to rave reviews, and now, Frontier Developments has revealed full details behind its huge first expansion, Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth, finally linking the franchise with its film series namesake.
Per Frontier Developments :
Frontier Developments are excited to announce the Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth Expansion launching on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S June 16, 2026.
Players will enter a new era as they take control of three top-secret locations in Jurassic World Evolution 3’s largest DLC to date. The Jurassic World Rebirth Expansion is set before the events of Universal Pictures’ and Amblin Entertainment’s blockbuster film, and introduces four screen-accurate species, over 350 scenery pieces, and much more!
Île Saint-Hubert’s Main Facility, Ancient Valley, and Riverside Lab each offer unique challenges, designs, and, for the first time, allow players to harness geothermal energy. Site Managers will come face to face with four new species: the fearsome Mutadon, inquisitive Aquilops, towering Titanosaurus and the daunting Distortus rex. Joining these new species are authentic models and skins for the adult T. rex, Spinosaurus, Mosasaurus, Quetzalcoatlus, Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor.
Key Features:
- Expansive new campaign based on the events prior to the blockbuster film.
- Four brand new, high-fidelity species from Jurassic World Rebirth, including the iconic Distortus rex.
- 387 scenery pieces and 37 blueprints with themes including InGen facilities and Mayan Temple structures.
- Geothermal Power has been added for the first time, allowing players to harness this inspired natural energy source.
- Open Air Aviaries offer increased visibility for your flying reptiles alongside expanded terrain editing height.
- New experimental traits allow site managers to enhance a species’ biological characteristics.
- Assignments provide players with a new way to progress: priority assignments advance the campaign, and optional assignments unlock new genomes, experimental traits, and research opportunities.
Launching alongside Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth Expansion is Update 1.3, a free update for all Jurassic World Evolution 3 players. This update introduces a whole host of new content, including: T. rex semi-aquatic behaviour, Cretaceous cruise in aviaries; Cearadactylus returning from Jurassic World Evolution 2 as a family unit, and more!
Jurassic World Evolution 3: Rebirth Expansion will be available starting June 16 on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S for a suggested retail price of £19.99 / $24.99 / €24.99. Jurassic World Evolution 3 is required to play and is available for a suggested retail price of £49.99/$59.99/€59.99 for the standard edition, and £64.99/$74.99/€74.99 for the Deluxe Edition.
