Marvel’s Wolverine features several collectibles, and perhaps the most on-brand for the character one is the Whiskey Bottles. These are strewn throughout the campaign, each level having one, sometimes two bottles for you to find. Each one has a name, sometimes apt or even an Easter Egg to X-Men history, and while some are easy to find, others are hidden extraordinarily well. Finding them is important beyond just the trophy, though, as they give you AP, which levels you up, unlocking bigger and better skills, making you the Living Weapon you always should have been.
By the end of the guide, you’ll have found all the Whiskey Bottle locations in Marvel’s Wolverine, hopefully with relative ease thanks to our guide!

1. Canada – Homecoming – Uncanny Whiskey
After chatting to Walter, helping him right a fridge, having a catch-up, and then making your way upstairs (and another guilt-trip chat with Mystique), you’ll come to rest in your room, or what was it. Logan’s stuff has been moved, and you’ll need to follow his nose to find his stuff and your rest spot. In this room, straight in front of you, is the game’s first Whiskey Bottle. Unmissable.
One click and you're done. Thank you!

2. Canada – The One That Got Away – Incredible 181
After you’ve investigated the mansion and left via the hole in the roof, you’ll catch Jean’s scent and be on your way to find her. As you follow it, you’ll come to a workyard and Logan will make comment about an open bottle. Follow the new scent to the right, destroy the wooden boards and find Callisto’s garage (read her journal for the Greased trophy), and the bottle is on the left, nearby the car.

3. Canada – Raise Some Hell – Cold Lake
In the same area as the Nightmare Door, the third Material Crate is where you’ll find this level’s Whiskey. When you enter the shipping yard, moments after being introduced to ‘Hot Claws, you’ll walk down some stairs, and the Nightmare Door’s roots will appear. Ignore these, and instead head forward, past the forklift until you find a door on the left. Logan will make a comment, “Hey, who’s drinking on the job?”, and you can break the door and find the Whiskey Bottle.

4. Canada – Strays – Blood Debt
During this level, you’ll be put to task by Leech, after he’s put himself in a room and won’t come out. At least, he won’t come out until you find four of his drawings, alongside Jean. Go downstairs to the common room (grab the drawing there), and then head towards the kitchen through the door. Before getting there, though, turn left and into Walter’s Laboratory, and find this Whiskey Bottle in the back room, on the right, sitting on a desk.

5. Canada – Something Much Stronger – Not Dead Yet
At the start of this level, you’ll be directed towards the cabin. Make your way through the cold terrain, destroying the target hay bales as you go for some easy experience. You’ll come to a slippery slope, and once you hit the stream below, Logan will make a comment on how cold it is.
Now you know you’re in the right place. Follow the stream and head to the right, and you’ll see a large cave; at this point, you’ll likely see the blue hue of a Whiskey Bottle inside the cave. Head in, and then up, to find it sitting on some wooden crates.

6. Madripoor – Knock Knock – Tenth Man
Two-thirds of the way through Knock Knock, you’ll have just seen a particularly awesome cutscene involving Logan, the relay tower, and then Sabretooth decimating three poor enemies. Once you see this, this is when you’ll need to keep an eye out for the Whiskey Bottle.
As soon as you can control Logan, DON’T head towards the objective. Instead, pull to the right and look for the open window that you can climb through into the building next to you. This is where the Whiskey Bottle is, and if you look on the table near where you enter, you won’t miss it.

7. Madripoor – Mutant Detected – Fist of Legend
This Whiskey Bottle is right near the end of the level. You’ll have witnessed Logan try to fight a jet engine, found the last Material Crate, and the Nightmare Door all before this. In fact, this Whiskey Bottle is not far from the Nightmare Door.
Once you’ve finished that, come out of the room and head left and down the corridor. Before continuing on the path the scent is trying to take you, head across the corridor to the door covered with the wooden box. Break it, enter the code 5413, and enter the room. Head to the back and into the vent, and out the other side. Right in front of you is the Whiskey Bottle Fist of Legend.

8. Madripoor – One Last Mission – The Old Man
Right at the beginning of the mission, you’ll be tasked with talking to all three members of the team. When you come to chat with Victor, you’ll have to complete a mini-game where you’re arm-wrestling. After a short cutscene where Logan says that the top-shelf whiskey is needed more by Victor than by himself, you’ll see the bottle sitting on the bannister of the balcony. Impossible to miss.

9. Japan – Get Angry – Patch
At about a third of the way through the level, after you’ve rescued Jean and fought in the park, she’ll lead you to a Tokyo Bar. In this bar, you’ll go through to the back, and you’ll have to go left to continue the mission. Instead, head right and into the toilet, pushing Triangle to interact with the mask on the wall. This will cause something to come out; no spoilers here, and then when it retracts, you can get to the Whiskey Bottle behind it.

10. Japan – Bad Blood – Fatal Attractions
After meeting Jean at Shiro’s place, slightly over 50% of the way through the level, you’ll be climbing your way to the penthouse. You’ll end up in a construction site, cutting your way through a chain-link fence, and no doubt finding the third Materials Crate of the level at the same time. Before continuing on with the level, turn tail and follow the Scent trail to this level’s Whiskey Bottle, cleverly hidden away by some construction worker.

11. Japan – In the Shadows – Best There Is
This bottle is found right after you find Material Crates two and three. You’ll have just destroyed the third power box, and Logan will be directed to a cluster of detectors for you to destroy. Before doing that, look down and to the right, and you’ll see another rooftop lower down, with a Whiskey Bottle in plain view. This is the first of this level.

12. Japan – In the Shadows – Berserker Brew
Much further into the level, around the 71% mark, you’ll have regrouped with Jean and made your way into another Hand hideout. This time though, Jean will ‘psychic glamour’ you so you appear differently to them. As you walk in, head straight forward, and you’ll come to the second and last Whiskey Bottle of this level, sitting on a table waiting for you.

13. Japan – Death Comes to Death – Hand of God
32% through the level, you’ll have infiltrated Harada Garden Tower, and as you’re inspecting the wall grate, you’ll be ambushed by several of The Hand. After this, head to the kitchen in the back, and the previously closed door is now wide open. Follow the path until you come across an open grate, and to the right of it, the Hand of God Whiskey Bottle.

14. Japan – We Were Wrong – Revolto
An odd name for a Whiskey Bottle, or any consumable drink, I’m sure you’ll agree. 40% through the level, you’ll have just had another run-in with Essex, as you and Jean are busy trying to follow the newly made Hand Mutant through the streets.
After that chat, you’ll follow the noise and destruction before coming to what looks like a head-on collision. Head forward, past this, and turn left at the junction at the end, and look behind the lorry for your Whiskey Bottle.

15. Japan – Hell Followed With Him – The Itsu Single Malt
Nearly 60% into the level, you’ll have made your way through the lengthy stealth section, taking out the Hand that guarded the Stronghold. After a touching moment between Jean and Logan, you’ll be getting fired upon by archers and making your way up the mountain.
Right after Jean saves you from being smushed by three rocks, and subsequently uses them for you to climb on, you’ll see the Whiskey Bottle below you, on a table, outside the burning building you were just standing on.

16. Madripoor – Way Down Low – Wild Canadian Whiskey
This mission is where you really begin to see Nathaniel Essex’s true colours, with him rounding up Dormant Mutants in an attempt to increase the population of Mutants worldwide. After you’ve gotten the hand from the VIP Reaver and unlocked the container for the document, you’ll be heading towards the radio station under heavy sniper fire.
Jean will kill the first sniper, but before you continue on, make sure you grab the Whiskey Bottle. Get to the same rooftop as that first sniper, and then head left, following the scent to the bottle left on a table outside.

17. Madripoor – Way Down Low – Little Uncle
After you’ve been to the radio station and set off the revolution, you’ll jump across a gap and onto a zip wire. Following that zip wire will bring you to a rooftop, where a Nightmare Door is up above, and if you go past that to the right and look down, you’ll see the second Whiskey Bottle of the level. Jump down and pick it up.

18. Madripoor – Roll the Dice – Blood and Bourbon
You’re still in Madripoor, although instead of starting revolutions, you’re now going to be infiltrating high society parties. You’ll get to a point in the level where you have to distract a VIP whilst Jean takes his keycard, which will allow you access to the floors above.
Once you get that, walk up the stairs but don’t go to the elevator yet. Instead, run around to the other side of the balcony, and you’ll find a bar. Speak to the bartender and find one of your final Whiskey Bottles.

19. Madripoor – Field Test – Captain Terror
As you find out the lengths Essex is going to in order to test the Helix Engine, you and Jean will be fighting a new type of enemy in order to protect the civilians of Madripoor. After you get hit by a truck and put through a wall, and subsequently fight a crowd of those enemies, you’ll be able to go upstairs and outside onto the roof. On this roof, sitting on a table right next to you, is the second-to-last Whiskey Bottle.

20. Madripoor – I’m Still Here – Ol’ Canuckle Head
After a lengthy cutscene and gameplay moment involving Logan’s inner psyche, you’ll awaken in a tomb, battered, bruised, and not entirely whole. As you progress through the ruins of what was Lowtown, you’ll end up fighting a new breed of Sentinels, as they prowl and patrol, looking for more mutants. After the second one, you’ll want to go slightly down the path you’re on and look for a hole in the wall, and you’ll be in Tyger’s bar. Go upstairs to find this Whiskey Bottle sitting on the table as if nothing is happening.

And that’s all of the Whiskey Bottle locations in Marvel’s Wolverine! Collecting all these will unlock the trophy ‘Full Barrel’, as well as a chunk of AP for levelling up.
