Are you finding Atomfall difficult? Struggling to find the right weapon or keycard for the situation? How about missing a key recipe? Well, no matter the issue, we have everything answered to make Atomfall easy for you. In this guide, we’ll explain just how you can disarm traps in the game, not only saving your life but also going a long way to bolster your inventory.
How to Disarm Traps in Atomfall
On your travels throughout Atomfall you’ll end up getting caught unawares by plenty of traps, however, if you notice them in good time and don’t set them off, you may be able to profit from them instead of suffering from them, but first, you’ll need the right skill.
As with every other skill in the game, you’ll need to make sure you have enough Training Stimulants to actually purchase it. For the skill ‘Disarm Traps’, you’ll need three Training Stimulants, which can be found in BARD Cases around the game. Once you have three, go to the skill menu and purchase ‘Disarm Traps’.

Now you have the skill, disarming traps is as simple as following the two steps below:
- Notice the trap before setting it off. Look for a wire along the floor in the environment for starters.
- Approach the trap slowly, waiting for the button prompt (Square/X) that’ll allow you to disarm the trap, taking the resources for yourself.
And that’s it, now you can disarm all the traps in Atomfall, and focus on the many, many other ways you can die, and there are a lot. With how many traps there are in the game, you may want to prioritize getting Disarm Traps early on, as it’ll save you a lot of headaches and needless deaths. Failing that, just keep sprinting and you’ll survive many (most) of the traps.
