The Elder Scrolls fanbase finally has some good news to enjoy after today’s live stream took place, as Bethesda has just announced The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered with some side-by-side comparisons of the original game with the remaster. It also gave a rundown of some of the changes that have been made to improve the title, and finally, a release date was also announced.
The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered Is Finally Returning With All Its Might
During today’s live stream, Bethesda and Virtuous revealed The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered in all its glory as gamers got a brand-new look at the world of Oblivion with its new makeover, but it isn’t just the world of Oblivion that has been upgraded either.
Throughout the live stream, it was made clear that every part of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been upgraded to improve the title. Whether it be the character models, the weapon designs, the enemy models, player movement, or just simply adding sounds to combat, there have been numerous alterations that will improve the title for both new and old players.

As well as receiving all these upgrades, players will also be able to benefit from instant access to all the extra content that came with the original title, right from the get-go, rather than having to wait for new DLC content to drop in the future.
Finally, the biggest news that came from the live stream was the release date that players were eagerly awaiting, which is that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be released today and will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, as well as being available day one on Xbox Game Pass.
