Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans are in for a treat if they liked its multiplayer and zombies because they can access it for free, courtesy of Activision. The developer broke the news in a Steam announcement that Season 04 will be free between May 30 and June 3. Season 04 was released recently, bringing in some new content, including three new multiplayer maps and one fan-favorite mode. The announcement reads,
In celebration of Season 04 of Call of Duty®: Black Ops 6, get full access to Multiplayer and Zombies — including new Season 04 content — for a limited time from May 30 until June 3.
However, the new season came with new issues too, making the game unstable, where players are having trouble staying connected. The official account for the game’s updates, Call of Duty Updates, began announcing the disabling of certain features soon after the announcement.
What’s New in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s Latest Season?

Verdansk has a new under-construction building called The Overlook. Players will find it in the Downtown. With a building like that comes a couple of interactable giant cranes. You’ve got to look for the snipers, as it may serve as a new point of interest to them. Developers made some adjustments, too, with new High Value Loot Zones including Superstore, Quarry, and The Overlook.
We’ve got new weapons in the game too: an LC10 submachine gun, an FFAR 1 assault rifle, and an Essex Model 07 marksman rifle. New attachments include a G-grip foregrip, a Stryder .22 3-round burst mod, an SVD full auto mod, and a TR2 CQB auto conversion. There are a lot of weapon adjustments too, but that would become too much to cover here. But Activision gives us a brief on where the developers have worked on light machine guns to help them assist the operators in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for long-range.
Additionally, there’s a playlist update for Verdansk, which will run from May 29 to June 12. This includes a returning mode, Clash, set around a specific point of interest, according to the update.
