‘Iconic’ Franchise Easter Egg Spotted in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

‘Iconic’ Franchise Easter Egg Spotted in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach

The PlayStation platform is only growing stronger with its brand synergy, such as placing certain characters or easter eggs in different projects, like Astro Bot, and now apparently, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. These may not have major implications for whatever game you are experiencing, but they serve as gentle reminders that they have deep connections to one another.

Easter egg hunting is a great hobby for hardcore gamers, and one upcoming game is already confirmed to be stocked to the brim. While these things are in the game purely for fan service, these easter eggs are a humble reflection of the franchise’s beginnings.

PlayStation Fans Can Easily Spot This One Tall Easter Egg in the Death Stranding Sequel

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is right around the corner, and Sony Interactive Entertainment has begun to send early review copies for content creators and reviewers. Players with early access to Kojima’s latest project have exactly 20 days to best summarize their thoughts before dropping reviews on June 23rd, but this didn’t stop them from sharing what the gaming community can see in the game.

One reviewer claimed that the Tallneck from the Horizon franchise will be seen in the form of a hologram. The Tallneck was also part of the original game, and was an easter egg to a certain degree and a way for Kojima Productions to thank Guerrilla Games for sharing the Decima engine.

JorRaptor then finished his post with a cryptic hint that there could be more PlayStation easter eggs in the game. Perhaps Kojima could include a few more, such as holograms of Kratos and Atreus from the God of War series, and many more. Kojima loves to include real-world things in his projects, and this was seen in the original Death Stranding. There is no limit to his creativity, and this can make fans feel seen in these massive games.
