Ubisoft is clearly having fun with Assassin’s Creed Shadows, using the newly introduced Animus Hub to give its players a reason to dive back into feudal Japan. This time around, it’s an armor set for Naoe that has fans of the new title excited to complete a few Anomalies for a major boost to her stealth skills.
The Robes of the Enraged take players back to Victorian London, where Evie Frye’s abilities were a thorn in the side of any Templars unfortunate enough to oppose her.
The Shadow in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Naoe’s penchant for silent infiltrations has been a major talking point for Ubisoft’s latest offering since Assassin’s Creed Shadows hit the shelves. The Igan shinobi is able to wipe out legions of hostiles with nothing but her hidden blade and grappling hook, using the world around her to help her blend in and remain unseen.

However, this week’s addition to the Animus Hub’s Exchange – a sort of digital storefront where you spend in-game rewards – gives her the ability to blend in even when she can’t find a suitable cover spot from which she can stage her next assault.
Exploring Japan and engaging with the Animus Hub’s Projects, clearing out Anomalies, and purging corrupt entities within its simulation of ancient Japan are among Shadows’ many activities. Earning Helix Keys to spend on the Exchange’s daily and weekly rotations of cool gear has had many an Assassin excited to see what the store has to offer. The Robes of the Enraged may be just what you were looking for!
A New Level of Stealth
Aside from fairly decent stats that could improve Naoe’s durability in a fight, the Robes of the Enraged come with a unique perk that allows Naoe to turn invisible after she crouches or goes prone when she is out of combat.

It’s utility in clearing out Castles and nabbing Legendary gear notwithstanding, it’s sure to make getting to assassination targets in the game’s story mode a whole lot easier among other things. The new armor is sure to be put to good use by a player base that has been finding creative ways to take out anyone in their way since Assassin’s Creed Shadows was released.
What’s more, the new armor has brought back fond memories for fans of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, who are reminded of Evie Frye’s ability to turn invisible when staying still – a skill that was a game changer back in the day. They were quick to showcase their joy on Shadows’ official subreddit.
Clearly, Ubisoft’s new addition to the game is finding many takers.
However, some players believe that the new armor could ruin the game’s immersive approach to stealth – a valid concern unless you’re playing on Expert Mode.
Either way, get those Animus missions out of the way to rack up enough keys and nab this armor before it leaves the Exchange’s weekly rotation to gain a serious advantage in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
