Any PC gamer worth their salt will be aware of the Steam sale, which is infamous at this point. Valve has been so upfront and customer-facing with its pricing, that memes have been made about PC gamer’s ever-growing backlog. From AAA masterpieces to Indie heartfelt experiences, the Steam sale tends to have something with everyone, with thousands of games, DLCs, and expansions on offer.
Steam Sale – When Does the Autumn 2024 Sale Begin?
Just like Black Friday has become synonymous with overspending and deals galore to the average shopper, so too has the Steam sale to the average PC gamer. Have you been waiting months for that big game to go on sale so you can justify the purchase? Now’s the time. Did you want the collection of that remastered classic trilogy from a long time ago? You’re probably in luck. But when does it all begin?

As we speak, the Autumn Steam sale is set to drop today, in a few short hours at 6PM GMT/1PM EST/12PM CST/10 AM PST! With the holiday period coming quickly, this Steam sale is reportedly only lasting a week, ending December 4th, with the upcoming Winter sale coming right behind it in a few short weeks on December 19th (this one set to last into the new year, ending January 2nd).
What’s on Offer in the Steam Sale?
The sheer breadth of Valve’s Steam library makes it difficult to predict what will be on offer, and as predicted, there are thousands of incredible deals for us to choose from. From Diablo IV for a paltry £25.19, Cyberpunk 2077 for only £22.49 (adding to the recently surpassed 30 million sales milestone), and the much-maligned Star Wars Outlaws getting a 25% discount down to £44.99, it’s time for everyone to get involved!
Other AAA notable offers include:
- Dragon’s Dogma – 43% off at £30.76.
- Metaphor: ReFantazio – 25% off at £44.99.
- Silent Hill 2 Remake – 20% off at £47.99.
- Hogwarts Legacy – 70% off at £14.99.
And some incredible indies join the event too:
- Body Cam – 20% off at £23.60.
- Chained Together – 10% off at £3.86.
- Manor Lords – 30% off at £24.49.
- Layers of Fear – 90% off at £1.49.
Control: Ultimate Edition being only $10 last year may be the biggest coup of the entire sale, but we’re left wondering what the Steam sale Autumn sale will have as its crowned winner.
