FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves Season 3 is almost upon us, and now we know both the release date, as well as the cast of characters and theme this season will bring. Full details below!

SNK Corporation is pleased to announce that Season 3 of FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves will commence on 23rd July 2026, with Destined for Revenge as its central theme. This new season will once again feature monthly updates (in the form of character additions, new stages, and so on), delivering fresh gameplay experiences and thrilling content that will keep players engaged over the long term. SNK invites players new and old to join the pack for yet another landmark milestone in the City of the Wolves saga as it continues to evolve post-release.
Destined for Revenge in Season 3
City of the Wolves continues its evolution with mnthly updates. New characters, new stages, new fervour, new fury.
Destined for Revenge replaces the previous overarching theme (Season 2’s Legends Unleashed) as even more fighters – and their vengeance-fuelled fates – descend upon South Town’s sinister streets. Monthly DLC updates will help shape the competitive landscape as City of the Wolves pushes new boundaries for its player base going forward.
Season 3 will add the following DLC characters to the playable roster, with mystery fighters slated for release in October and December. Further details will be revealed in due course.

DLC characters are now available for individual purchase
Season 3 heralds another major change: DLC characters that were previously Season Pass exclusives are now available for individual purchase (check storefront listings for applicable characters). The Legend Edition can also be obtained at a more affordable price point, so now is the time to pick it up if you haven’t already.
