EDITOR’S NOTE |
---|
There are multiple locations of the recipes in Atomfall, so depending on your playstyle, you may have already found the recipe below. This is just one location available. |
Poison Bomb Recipe Location
The Poison Bomb Recipe is one of the early game recipes that you’ll come across in Atomfall, and one that is actually part of the main story lead ‘Get Mother Jago’s Book Back’ and will be difficult to miss. It is still possible though, so read on for a quick and clear explanation of where to find the Poison Bomb Recipe.
Upon finding Mother Jago and having a short conversation with her, she’ll ask you to head over to the Druids and their castle to find a book they stole from her and retrieve it for her. This isn’t a prerequisite to getting the Poison Bomb Recipe, but unless you have some serious wanderlust early in the game, this will be the first milestone and a big hint you’re on the right track.

Once you’ve spoken to Mother Jago, head towards the bottom left corner of the map, through the woods, and towards Casterfell Ruins. Head on in and be ready for resistance, as Casterfell Ruins is a hub of Wickerman-esque activity.
Once you’re in the ruins, head down towards the huge, glowing hole with the High Priestess monologuing in front of, it as she throws ‘sacrifices’ into it. Dispatch her and head to the left, down the stairs, and to the left of the hole. There is a large contingent of enemies here, so prepare for a fight. Once you’ve cleared the area, head forward until you see a bridge with bats in the air. Cross this kill the bats, and move forward a little more
You’ll come across a corner with a glowing wall, in front of which are a couple of bodies with some much-needed resources, but the most important item is the Poison Bomb Recipe stuck to the wall.
Poison Bomb Recipe Ingredients and Effects
Once you have the Poison Bomb Recipe, you’ll be able to craft it in the crafting menu, as long as you have the required resources needed. To craft it, you’ll need :
- Cloth – 2/2
- Poison – 2/2
- Glass – 4/4
- Spores – 2/2
Once you’ve crafted it, you’ll have a throwable Poison Bomb for combat, which will quickly become a go-to in your arsenal. Once thrown, the Poison Bomb lands and releases a cloud of Poison smoke, hurting everyone within its radius, which is a great crowd control strategy.
