For those who have been missing the past Call of Duty action before it became a minefield of fancy skins popping at every step, they might be in for some good news, as a couple of classics, Infinite Warfare and World at War, are likely to hit Xbox Game Pass soon. The news comes from XboxEra, which revealed that both games, including Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 & 2 HD, have the green “included with Game Pass” tag but none of them are available on the service.
Talking about the availability, Modern Warfare III and Black Ops 6 are available to play there, though fans may not want to play the former for obvious reasons. The latter is the latest in the series and if they fancy seeing America’s monster, Russell Adler, in action again, that’s definitely worth playing once. Rating-wise, Modern Warfare III holds a 56 rating on Metacritic, while the other got more favorable with 86%.
World at War Kickstarted Black Ops and Infinite Warfare Pushed Call of Duty Further into Space
It was in 2009’s Modern Warfare 2 when the franchise first went up in the space when that SLBM detonated, destroying the international space station while sending a large electromagnetic pulse that disabled aerial equipment. The next we know, it’s raining choppers. We saw the space momentarily in Black Ops 2 when we guided Hudson and the team in the epic Blackbird mission. Ghosts expanded upon it and we got a gunfight in space.

Then came Infinite Warfare, and it brought the entire outer space with it, and Kit Harrington. Although Harrington’s acting was panned by critics, the game overall was decent, as it currently boasts a 77 rating on Metacritic. There are a couple of interesting cameos in there too but they aren’t actors. Though one of them was in Road House, we can tell you this much.
As for World at War, that kickstarted the Black Ops franchise and also brought zombies to Call of Duty for the first time. For many, that was the best kind of zombies experience in the entire series now plagued with multiplayer content. Interestingly, that’s the game where we actually see Viktor Reznov in the flesh guiding us, unlike the game’s sequel, where… play it yourself.
