Marvel Rivals is gaining popularity because it capitalizes on the hero shooter formula and is based on characters from the most popular comic book universe. If you plan on giving the free-to-play 6v6 hero shooter a guide, you will need to know the ins and outs of each character, and Marvel Rivals Spider-Man is no exception.

To capitalize on everything that makes the character awesome you will need to know all about New York’s Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man. And this guide will be your one-stop solution, giving you everything you need to do whatever a spider can!

Marvel Rivals Spider-Man Tips & Tricks
Despite being a duellist, Marvel Rivals Spider-Man’s difficulty star rating is because of his easy-to-learn, hard-to-master melee abilities. While practice will help you utilize his abilities well keep these pointers in mind before you hit play:
- Get up close and personal with the enemy—a foe in proximity is easy to hit with the host of abilities available.
- Use his Web Cluster ability with melee attacks and other abilities to increase your chances of landing a Spider-Tracer and deal some extra damage.
- You need to get your strike in and relocate. Use the bull and the matador approach as his HP isn’t the best and you can easily die if you aren’t always on the move.
- Spectacular Spin, if timed right, can wreak havoc on the battlefield as it both stuns and damages, use it at the right moment and not willy-nilly.
How to Beat Marvel Rivals Spider-Man (Weaknesses & Counters)
If you are against a good Marvel Rivals Spider-Man you don’t have a lot of options. However, there are some strategies you can use.
- Using enemies that can stun Spider-Man will go a long way. Use Scarlet Witch’s Dark Seal, if you can prevent him from swinging and running circles around you, you will be able to cheese him.
- Hawkeye or Mantis will also be able to counter Marvel Rivals Spider-Man due to their abilities to stun enemies efficiently.
In all fairness, countering Spider-Man will be a difficult task in the game, unless the player using him is a novice, so get ready for some frustration and some luck and/or heavy skill needed.
Alternate Skins
There are alternate costumers and cosmetics for every character as there have to be some microtransactions to sustain a free-to-play game. While these are completely optional, if you are a hardcore Marvel fan, buying all of these will set you back quite a bit.
