Rust Mobile is getting another Beta Test, all centred around the biggest event of the gaming calendar year, Gamescom. Published by Level Infinite, and licensed by Facepunch Studios, Rust Mobile’s second Beta Test is set to launch on August 23rd at 6PM PDT/9PM EDT/1AM BST/2AM CEST. Players across the supported regions, including North America, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, will be able to pre-download the Beta test on August 22nd from 1AM PDT/4AM EDT/8AM BST/9AM CEST.
This new Rust Mobile Beta Test will allow players from even more regions to join into the madness for the first time, and with a huge thirteen languages now supported, including English, Russian, German, Turkish, French, Traditional Chinese, Thai, Korean, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Indonesian, Japanese and Arabic, there will be an experience for most.
The developers have also promised a number of changes when compared to the first Beta test, with more “accessible gameplay options, new-player-friendly features and a wider range of in-game items.”. What this entails is unknown currently, but we don’t have long to wait.
All of that, and more still to come, with the Beta Test promising lots for those attending Gamescom 2026 in Cologne this year. With it being announced that “attendees can visit the Rust Mobile-themed tent in the official Gamescom Camp activation area at Jugendpark Köln to go hands-on with Rust Mobile, rest and recharge. There will also be many other activities themed around the game, cosplayer meetups, photo challenges and prizes.”.
