Although no gameplay has been revealed for Ghost of Yotei, it has been revealed that there will be plenty of new experiences within Ghost of Yotei that will make it a completely new experience in comparison to Ghost of Tsushima.

Following the main character, Coen players will be able to explore 14th-century Europe as they attempt to save their family while also coming to terms with their new vampiric powers. To make this even more interesting is the fact that The Blood of Dawnwalker takes place over 30 days, limiting the players to completing their objective within this time frame.
Due to this, players can experience both being a human as well as a vampire as they attempt to learn how to use both versions of the character to their fullest as they attempt to defeat Brencis, one of the vampire lords who has taken over the location of Vale Sangora and has initiated a blood tax on the human population in an attempt to bring vampires into their rightful place in the world.
