Xbox Game Pass Brutally Removes One Studios Entire Catalogue Without Warning

Xbox Game Pass was meant to be the most convenient way to play games; however, a handful of titles disappeared in an instant. The European market took a massive hit after 27 games left the streaming service without prior notice, leaving subscribers to scratch their heads and ponder the reason behind these abrupt removals.

It is not uncommon for games to be delisted, but the odd thing about this situation is that every game from a single publisher was removed altogether. Perhaps deals couldn’t be made on time or something else went down; regardless, subscribers got the short end of the stick.

European Xbox Game Subscribers Lost Access to a Good Number of Games

Losing 27 games in a flash is a bummer for subscribers: Microsoft

Games from subscription services come and go, but the recent delistings from the European market is concerning for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in that region. The best part about a subscription service is not having to pay full price for a game, and the convenience of playing it anywhere on any supported device. However, the service is only as good as the games that are available on it.

European subscribers reported a handful of games disappeared from their online store, which is not a rare occurrence. However, an entire catalogue by a single publisher went away without warning, and this didn’t sit right with most subscribers.

Here are all the delisted games from the European market of Xbox Game Pass:

  • Abo Khashem
  • Alder’s Blood: Definitive Edition
  • Cats and the Other Lives
  • Creepy Tale
  • Creepy Tale 2
  • Destropolis
  • Exorder
  • Flippin Kaktus
  • Grim Dawn: Definitive Edition
  • Gylt
  • House
  • Hyper Light Drifter
  • Kena: Bridge of Spirits
  • Mundaun
  • One True Hero
  • Ooblets
  • Paper Dolls Original
  • Primal Light
  • Quest Hunter
  • REKT! High Octane Stunts
  • Song of the Deep
  • Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation
  • Steve Jackson’s Sorcery!
  • Strike Force Kitty
  • SuperMash
  • Super Meat Boy Forever
  • Will You Snail?

One developer that was hit in its entirety was No Gravity Games, with every single game in its catalogue delisted and removed, and with no statements given as to why, it’s a bother to many. While this isn’t uncommon, this is a sad turn of events for subscribers who were looking forward to play these games on Xbox Game Pass, and a worrying prospect for the developers if they are indeed unaware of the delistings. Hopefully, it’s just a bug and will be remedied shortly.
