Among the story missions in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ mode, two of the first three are definitely not missions you’ll be able to complete alone. Operation Silent Ledger, which involves robbing a casino, is one of them.
This particular mission is filled with enemies, but it also features a lieutenant who will make your life a living hell if you go alone. This is a complete guide on how to successfully complete the mission, and how to do it quickly, easily, and with maximum rewards coming your way.
How to Complete the Operation Silent Ledger Story Mission in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ
Once again, as with all these story missions, you’ll start very close to the target building. The casino is located in the northern area of the Hajin map. It will be heavily guarded, but not as badly as the hospital entrance in the Operation Critical Extraction mission. After entering the building, you’ll need to go down to the parking area and start the generator so you can access the elevators.
There will be guards in different positions, but it won’t be that complicated to get past them, even without killing them. If you have a suppressor on your weapons, you can avoid being detected during this first part of the mission. When you reach the generator, there will be a little minigame to turn on the power, in which you have to press the button three times at a specific spot. It is very easy.
Turning On the Power and Heading to the Security Room
This is where the most complicated part of the mission starts, at least in terms of the number of enemies you need to defeat, including the lieutenant. Head toward the elevator marked in the objective, then jump to the other elevator. Once there, you’ll be near the security room, where you need to unlock the vault to extract the money.
In this part of the casino, there will be a couple of staircases in both directions. You’ll need to reach the right wing of the floor on the upper level. This is where Lieutenant Jin-Tae is waiting for your party. He is deadly and won’t rest until you’re down. He has a ton of armor and two powerful automatic rifles that will destroy your armor in no time.
To avoid being killed unexpectedly during this part of the mission, you and your party should focus on defeating Jin-Tae first. Try to bring some explosives to make the job faster. He will drop a legendary weapon and some blueprints once killed. After he’s defeated, the soldiers will keep coming, but it will be easier to keep moving.
Unlocking the Vault
You need to reach the security room after defeating Jin-Tae and unlock the door that gives you access to the vault. You’ll need to switch between the cameras until you get a view of the vault and activate the door system. Now it’s time to get back to the parking area. You’ll need to return through the same two elevators until you reach that level of the casino again. Once you’re on that floor, you’ll see a truck to your left before entering the vault area.
You’ll need to put all the money you take from the vault into that truck. Then, it’s time to drill through the vault. This will take some time, and the area will be filled with enemies. Fortunately, they’ll only be coming from one side, so they’re easy to hold back while the vault is opening.
Take the Money and Run
With the vault open, it’s time to load the bags of money into the truck. This part is tricky because the enemies will keep coming, and once you grab a bag, you’ll move a little slower. That’s why you need to complete this mission with a party, which is one of our main tips for the mode as a whole. You need to load the bags quickly because the vault will fill with toxic gas.
You can also loot money and other things in the vault. There isn’t that much, but you can take a little time to get some extra cash. After loading all the bags you can carry from the vault, it’s time to flee the area. One of you needs to open the parking gate and start driving toward the exfil zone.
Almost There
Once your party is in the truck, you’ll be followed by enemies, but not that many, so you can take them down. The real problem starts when you finally reach the exfil area. There will be some tough enemies waiting for you. This is where you need to divide and conquer.

Two of you need to load the bags onto the helicopter while the other player clears the area of enemies, or at least holds them off until all the bags are loaded. Then, it’s time to fly away, and the mission is a success.
