Marvel Rivals is the next big team shooter, spouting 6v6 team-based shooter dynamics, team-ups, hectic gameplay, and a beautiful art style. All that, and it’s based on the most popular IP of the last twenty years! With 33 playable characters free-to-play at launch, and many more set to join them over the coming months and years, it could get a little overwhelming to know where to start. To battle that, we’ve broken down each character, their strengths, weaknesses, lore, and more, including Marvel Rivals Iron Fist!
Marvel Rivals Iron Fist Overview and Lore
Marvel Rivals Iron Fist isn’t one everyone will be immediately familiar with. Gone is Danny Rand, replaced with the 19-year-old Lin Lie, who, upon inheriting the legendary Sword of Fu Xi, became the latest Immortal Iron Fist after fusing it with the Chi of Shou-Lao. As skilled in martial arts as he is in manipulating the magical forces bestowed upon him, Lin Lie is a formidable foe who’ll have you questioning whether you really want to engage with him. Marvel Rivals Iron Fist voice actor is Stephen Fu, known for Squid Game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and over 250 other credits.

Marvel Rivals Iron Fist Tips & Tricks
Marvel Rivals Iron Fist is a Duelist that’ll tear through the enemy if you know how to use him, and is a big reason he’s favored by so many, and hated by more:
- Go ham on everyone you encounter. Iron Fist is a high-damaging character and needs to be in the thick of it to be useful.
- Mix it up. Don’t stick to being on the ground. Marvel Rivals Iron Fist can run along walls and jump through the air, all whilst dealing heavy damage.
- Make use of his self-healing ability Harmony Recovery.
- Don’t wait to be within touching distance, make use of your abilities and you’ll dash through the map.
- Be aware of your cooldowns – without abilities, you’re toast.
Of course, mastering any one character can take time, and there will always be new tips and ways of doing things as the Meta changes!
How to Beat Marvel Rivals Iron Fist (Weaknesses & Counters)
At the time of writing, Marvel Rivals Iron Fist is an absolute powerhouse in serious need of a nerf, but there are some tried and tested ways of beating the Immortal Iron Fist.
- Try to time your attacks during his cooldowns. His lower health means without his abilities, he’s a sitting duck.
- Avoid/kill Luna Snow as early as possible if she’s on the team – Iron Fist’s team-up with her is powerful enough to swing the whole battle.
- Keep your distance. If Iron Fist can’t catch you, he can’t hurt you. Use ranged characters.
- If you see him, make sure you and your team are collectively focusing on him. There isn’t a more dangerous character most of the time.
Alternate Skins
NetEase may be releasing the game and the characters for free, but for the alternate skins and costumes, we’ll have to reach into our pockets for the best looks for our favorite heroes! With 33 (and counting) heroes to play as, and an entire multiverse of looks to put on screen, there’s going to be no shortage of choices to pick from! Below is the full list of Marvel Rivals Thor skins to pick!
Default

Clearly inspired by his 2018 first appearance, the default Iron Fist costume is as clean as they come.
Martial Arts Savant

Heavy white tones with the sash, hand wraps, and hair clash with the purple and white of the main costume, but it’s not different enough from the striking and iconic original to warrant many people using it.
Sword Master

Playing on the Chi powers Iron Fist has, and throwing him a snazzy little sword, this is much more unique than the Martial Arts Savant skin above.
