Stygian: Outer Gods is an immersive horror experience set in a world inspired by the works of HP Lovecraft. The game is currently in the early access phase, but the developers over at Misterial Games are not done adding new content. This new trailer highlights a variety of new content, from new locations, weapons, craftables, enemies, and many more.
The Early Access Phase of Stygian: Outer Gods Is About To Get Better
The early access phase of Stygian: Outer Gods started a few months back, exclusively on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Early access players encountered a fair few enemy variants and saw what Kingsport is like, but the team behind this project is just getting started. Misterial Games shared a new trailer featuring exciting content for a much more fulfilling experience.
Expect to see more explorable areas and improvements for the in-game balancing. You can visit new places and solve environmental puzzles by interacting with clues while fending off hostile forces. The developers have only scratched the surface and intend to go full throttle in delivering a unique Lovecraftian survival experience.

The Early Access Content trailer for Stygian: Outer Gods highlighted the following additions:
- New Locations: You can visit new areas called the House of Mists and the Brasko Mansion. Both points of interest are full of different enemies and secrets to unearth.
- New Characters and Monsters: Kingsport isn’t entirely devoid of life, especially with the inclusion of new people for you to meet.
- New weapons, items, and artifacts: The player base pleaded, and the developers listened by adding the highly requested Tommy gun to their arsenal.
- New quests: The story is far from over, with exciting new quests coming soon.
- New crafting recipes: Forage and loot as many resources as you can to craft newer items.
- Optimization: Expect to see a boost in performance and stability.
These are some of the new content early access players can expect. Misterial Games has a clear vision for the future of Stygian: Outer Gods and intends to leave early access early next year, followed by a full release. Players on the console side shouldn’t fret about missing out, since the developers confirmed Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 versions are coming in a much later date.
Stygian: Outer Gods is now available on Early Access exclusively on PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG.
