Hellraiser: Revival is a single player, film franchise adaptation that attempts to do video game justice for one of the most iconic horror characters of all time. Whether or not it does that is for the review to decide, but the question of how long is Hellraiser: Revival? Well, that’s something we can answer.
Hellraiser: Revival Game Length
As mentioned, Hellraiser: Revival is a single player game, with no multiplayer or co-op elements, as of yet. Whether that’s the case in a year after posr-launch support is unknown, so for now we can only go on what is in the game today.
Hellraiser: Revival tells the story of Aidan Lynch, an MC enforced with a heart, and a penchant for risk taking. During a particularly steamy encounter with his partner Sunny, involving the Lament Configuration Box, Pinhead and the other Cenobites arrive and take Sunny into the Labyrinth, and Aidan goes on a lengthy adventure to save her.

What follows is a story of love, toxic and otherwise, giving into your base desires, sensations galore, you know, all the things Hellraiser is known for, all while Aidan takes down a Cenobite-following Cult called the Scarlet Church.

There’s an abundance of collectibles to find, from surveillance notes, to Marlowe’s (the Cult leader) biography, detailing his beliefs of being the next one to ascend; there are plenty of puzzles to find and solve, including awkward doors at the beginning of the game, or long miniquests like the Missing Statues objective; and of course there’s boss fights aplenty, including the ominous and impressive Sister of Mercy, amongst others.
How long is Hellraiser: Revival? Well the answer to that largely depends on you. Are you wanting to read every collectible? First you have to find them, and some are pretty well hidden. What about get every trophy/achievement? Again, this is gonna add some time, albeit not too much as it is a simple Platinum/Mythic to accomplish. Below is the hours breakdown for how long Hellraiser: Revival is:
- Finish the story – 6 Hours.
- Find and read every collectible – 10 Hours.
- Platinum Trophy or Mythic Achievement – 14 Hours.
Yeah, you read that right. To get the full Platinum in Hellraiser: Revival, you’re not going to be adding much time to your total playthrough. It’s also entirely possible you’ll be able to find and read every collectible quicker than an additional four hours mentioned above, but franchise fan or not, I’d definitely suggest it, as they add to the story no end.
One item that can change your playtime is the difficulty you play it on. Even the best players will struggle on the hardest difficulty, and the length of Hellraiser: Revival will get boosted by deaths, having to replay sections of the game, or even failing to beat some of the harder bosses.

With multiple endings to play through, you’ll also add a little time there, although thankfully less than necessary thanks to our trick to get them in one playthrough.
All-in-all, Hellraiser: Revival‘s length is on the shorter side of modern day games, although the gaming landscape does need more, tighter experiences anyway, so that’s not a bad thing.
