Death Stranding 2 and Hideo Kojima Ignites Fanboy in Red Dead Redemption’s Roger Clark – Potential Collaboration Brewing?

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is expected to be released sometime next year on the PlayStation 5 and the gaming community is eager to see where director Hideo Kojima will take the franchise next. The original game was released a few years ago and it left a lasting impression on the player base and even some prolific voice actors like Roger Clark who can’t help but praise the director’s creativity.

Director Hideo Kojima has been working in the entertainment industry for years and has earned the respect of his colleagues and the admiration of voice actors. Roger Clark previously provided the voice and motion capture for Arthur Morgan in Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption 2 which was received with universal praise and his recent posts could hint at a potential collaboration.

The gaming community anticipated that Kojima would eventually make a sequel after the success of the first game, and fans all over the world erupted with joy after watching the teaser trailer of Death Stranding 2 during The Game Awards in 2022. Most sequels will expand on the lore and likely introduce new faces played by familiar actors, perhaps Clark is setting up the groundwork for a surprise appearance or is planting seeds for a future collaboration with Kojima Productions further down the road.

Kojima is a popular man and his reputation allows him to forge connections and relationships with talented people from different industries. Clark could be playing coy and hinting at a potential cameo in Death Stranding 2 or his recent tweet will land on Kojima’s radar and can be the catalyst for a future collaboration. Clark is an extremely talented actor and there is no telling what he and Kojima’s creative vision can bring to the future of video games.

If Clark couldn’t get a part in Death Stranding 2, perhaps he could work with the director on his next project: Physint which is in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment. This is a collaboration the gaming community is dying to see and it would be a shame to see two talented people not get the chance to work together.
